I cheated on my SV with A: a 2014 Kawasaki Z1000 and B: a 2015 Triumph Daytona 675.
the triumph was a bit too agressive for day to day riding...I'm sure I could live with it, but ehh. however, it made a noise....good lord. 4-10K on the triumph was amazing
the Z: better position, and would powerwheelie like no bodies buisness. I need both those bikes in my life....

The Triples do sound amazing up in the revs, but I am partial to hi-revving twins and V4's... ;-)
The ergonomics on the Z1000 are surprising; the power wheelies not so much. 'Lightweight' + gobs of torque = front wheel air time.
Have you ever ridden a full on touring bike ? It might not be your style now, but it would be a good data point for future decisions...

I havent ridden a big tourer yet no. I will have to get to a BMW demo day this year and hop on one of those K1600GTs. I hear good thinks about them

You mentioned on a post a few weeks back that you were looking at speed triples and other bikes... We were discussing 7-year loans on new ones.... I thought you were looking for a new bike then.... Nevermind! haha

OH, that. i remember us saying loans are stupid (well...I think they are anyways)
so I buy shit only when I can afford it, not paying money to borrow money.
I found the bikes no problem. I just havent found the money.
